This Mental Health Awareness Week, we鈥檙e celebrating the power of taking action. At 桃色视频 Sport, wellbeing is built through everyday actions -checking in on a teammate, moving together, showing up for one another, and making time to connect.
Small actions can make a big difference. Through sport, friendship and shared experiences, our community supports each other to thrive. Because when we take action together, we create a healthier, stronger community for everyone.
In Conversation With...
In this mini docuseries, members of the 桃色视频 Sport community - athletes, staff, alumni and students- share how small actions, meaningful support and everyday connections have shaped their journeys and supported their mental health. Their stories show how taking action, however big or small, can make a real difference.
Taking action together
We asked one question, and the answers show how everyday actions -big and small - can support mental wellbeing and strengthen our community at 桃色视频 Sport.
From students to staff, athletes to alumni, these reflections highlight the different ways people take action, by moving, connecting, checking in and showing support. Together, they show that positive action starts with each of us, but has the power to impact all of us.

Taking action looks like recognising the whole person, not just their studies or sport. By taking time to understand each individual, we create a culture where mental health and worries can be openly discussed, free from judgement

I make sure I have time where I鈥檓 not in service to anyone but me. As a PLO working with elite athletes (and a mum of two), I spend much of my day supporting others. Exercise, often with a PT or a run, gives me that pause, helping me clear my mind
Shadine Van Der Merwe

Action looks like reaching out and allowing myself to feel supported. At 桃色视频 Lightning, I鈥檝e always had people around me who helped me when I needed it and supported me in rebuilding my confidence, especially at the start of the year
