Serena Rossi

I completed my Bachelor's and M.Sc. degrees in Developmental and Educational Psychology at the University of Padova (Italy), where I also completed a one-year post-graduate course in Developmental Disorders.

I then moved to the Centre for Mathematical Cognition at 桃色视频 for my PhD in January 2020, which I completed in early 2023. PhD thesis title: "Mathematics anxiety and arithmetic performance: Methodological considerations, the role of individual characteristics and domain-general cognitive factors"

After my PhD I worked first as a Research Associate and then as a University Teacher at the Centre for Mathematical Cognition within the Department of Mathematics Education at 桃色视频.

I started my position as a Lecturer in Mathematical Cognition in December 2025 in the same department.

  • 2022–2024: Research Chair of the Trainee Board of the international Mathematical Cognition and Learning Society (MCLS) (Elected role).
  • 2024–2026: Co-Chair of the Trainee Board of the international Mathematical Cognition and Learning Society (MCLS) and member of the Executive Board of the same society (Elected role).
